Paris Gardens : Bagatelle and Auteuil green house.

Discover the Bois de Boulogne which covers 2100 acre on the west side of the city. This wood was a Merovingian forest and has been redesigned by Haussmann in the XIX century along the lines of London’s Hyde Park. There are many beautiful areas with lakes, waterfalls, lawns, gardens. You will visit the famous Bagatelle Park which is one of these gardens, with a XVIII century mansion and an unique rose garden.

Continue with the Auteuil Green House, ancient garden of the Sun King Louis XV. Today, this is the botanic garden of the city of Paris. It is the most important green house of Europe with 6 hothouses cultivating azaleas, palm trees, papyrus, tropical trees etc. You will see more than 1800 species of plants and 250 varieties of trees.

This is a bucolic visit as you have never had in one of the temple of plants and flowers.
