Guided visit of this prestigious cimetery full of romantic funerary statues set on a wooded hill overlooking Paris.
This national heritage site has over 3000 trees creating an attraction setting for the tombs. The land was owned by Père de la Chaise confessor of the Sun King Louis XIV. Here are buried celebrities such as Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf, Modigliani, Delacroix, Chopin, Molière, Géricault…and many others.
This is a very pleasant bucolic and leisurely place to visit and to pilgrim.
